Authasas Advanced Authentication® supports multiple authentication methods as modules so that each client may deploy the authentication method(s) that is best suited for that organization’s users and most effectively leverages existing hardware.
Once the Authasas framework is deployed, authentication modules will also be deployed to support any one, or even multiple authentication methods. The Authenticore® Server is designed to support multiple authentication methods, so you do not need to deploy and independent hardware infrastructure to support each authentication method that is deployed. A single server may support user group, for example, that uses a biometric fingerprint method, and while at the same time also supports a user group who uses a contactless card for authentication. Commonly, two methods may be deployed to all users, for example biometrics and Security Questions, therefore providing knowledge based authentication as a backup method should a fingerprint reader malfunction or otherwise be unavailable.
