Authasas Advanced Authentication is bridging the gap between physical and logical access. Users of contactless card technology for physical access may use those same badges for access to Windows® network resources. Authasas secures access by enforcing a card PIN or password which the user selects during card enrollment. Tap-in and Tap-out behavior are configured to logon and logoff, lock and unlock a workstation.

Authasas Advanced Authentication can also fully support programmed magnetic strip cards.By leveraging our contactless smartcard authentication method with the RF IDeas pcSwipe 82 Series reader, you may configure a PIN or password (not stored on the magnetic strip) and provide strong authentication to Windows using Authasas Advanced Authentication and a magnetic strip card. |
