Reinier van der Drift
President and CEO
Mr. van der Drift founded Authasas in 2008 as a subsidiary of BioXS International, B.V., a company which Mr. van der Drift also founded in 2001. Reinier also maintains a principal partnership in The Authentication Company which provides consulting and implementation services for Authasas. Mr. van der Drift has been a leader in the ICT industry since 1984, concentrating is efforts on strong authentication methods since 1997. As an entrepreneur, Mr. van der Drift's leadership has lead to the creation of several companies with the purpose of expanding the biometric and smartcard marketplace in Europe, the USA, and Asia.
Mr. van der Drift a thought leader and public advocate for the continued development of strong authentication technologies. As a public representative of the industry, you can often find Mr. van der Drift participating in the media and open forums.

Menno Stijl
Chief Technology Officer
Mr Stijl joined BioXS in 2007, bringing more than 30 years of software development plus over 25 years of company leadership experience. He has lead and managed numerous large and complex software development, product and project management teams most of his career. Menno's background includes successfully bringing technology to market, including biometrics, smart card- and PKI-solutions, VOIP-telecom services, large scale internet and intranet deployments and other innovative technology implementations. He has successfully established service and support organisations for a number of ICT-products and -services. He is co-founder of a number of companies like Authasas bv, that focus primarily on authentication and information security service delivery.
Mr. Stijl has a Masters Degree in electrical engineering (Delft technical university) and is Bachelor business administration. Menno is also the author of several patented and patent pending technologies.

Allard S. van Pelt
Chief Financial Officer
Allard van Pelt (1958, Amsterdam) joined Authasas in August 2011 and is responsible for Finance, Facilities and Human Resources. As CFO or Director of Finance he has gathered extensive experience in a wide range of companies and industries including, the cable industry, logistics, healthcare, retail, trade and production. In most Allard has worked extensively with National and Multinational Companies, and has successfully guided several private companies in business development and capital formation processes often culminating in raising capital. Therefore he is familiar with private equity parties and informal investors. He has strong analytical skills and proven ability to restructure and coach management.
Allard van Pelt holds a Masters Degree of Business Administration from the University of Amsterdam and a post-graduate degree in financial controls from the Vrije University of Amsterdam.

Paul Robertson
Vice President of Global Partnerships
As Authasas’s VP for Commercial Development within our Global Partner Network s, Paul brings fifteen years of International sales experience to Authasas. He has a strong track record working in Blue Chip companies developing enterprise software solutions within the Financial, Government and Healthcare verticals.
Prior to joining Authasas Paul was responsible in developing new technologies for the Information Systems Group within Hitachi which included smart card, biometric software and hardware solutions across EMEA. He was successful in leading several OEM partnerships and enterprise software integrations for the Banking, Finance and Healthcare Market Verticals.
Paul is based from our offices in London and has an Open University degree in Politics.

Rik Peters
Vice President of Development
Mr. Peters has over 7 years of experience in the IT security industry with high focus on authentication technologies. He started his carrier at BioXS by doing his thesis on biometrics for the University of Tilburg in 2003. Upon graduation, Mr. Peters immediately joined BioXS as a technology consultant. After 2 years he started working for The Authentication Company (TAC) where he held the role of Solution Architect for many large IT security projects. In this role he managed projects for the Dutch Supreme Court and one of the biggest water providing companies in the Netherlands. Mr. Peters holds many certifications and is a certified CISSP engineer.
Currently, Mr. Peters is responsible for product management and he oversees the development and QA teams for Authasas. Rik is ultimately responsible for the immediate and strategic product development for Authasas Advanced Authentication and all authentication modules.
